Six territories will be reorganized according to the KRT projects approved in December

The city in December last year adopted six decisions on the integrated development of inefficiently used territories with a total area of more than 153 hectares, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimo

"It is planned to erect about 2.4 million square meters of various real estate on them. Five territories will be reorganized by KRT operators, and another one will be reorganized by an investor to be determined by auction results. Investments in the implementation of the projects are estimated at 76 billion rubles, and the annual budgetary effect is estimated at 1.4 billion rubles. As a result, about 2 thousand jobs will be created," said Vladimir Efimov.

Now there are objects that do not benefit the capital and citizens, some areas are not built up. In their place will appear neighborhoods with high-tech industries, residential buildings, infrastructure, landscaped areas for walking and recreation.

Maxim Gaman, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the City Property Department, noted that one of the examples of reorganization of depressed areas will be the integrated development of sites in the Silino and Matushkino districts of Zelenograd, which will be carried out by an operator appointed by the city.

"According to the project, 2.5 thousand square meters of public utility facilities will be built here, as well as the building of the terminal station of ground passenger transport with a settling and turning area. The territory will be landscaped and new roads will be laid. As a result, 120 jobs will be created," Maxim Gaman explained.

Under the program of integrated development of territories, multifunctional urban neighborhoods are created, where roads, comfortable housing, and necessary infrastructure are designed in place of former industrial zones and inefficiently used plots.

Currently, 302 CRT projects with a total area of about 4.2 thousand hectares are at different stages of implementation in Moscow. They are being developed on the instructions of Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
